Social Media Strategist

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative social media strategies that align with brand goals and engage our target audience. You will be at the forefront of social media trends, crafting compelling content largely around video, and working closely with our production team to ensure the social media content we create for our clients are on trend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Expert: Collaborate with team members to craft strategies that elevate the brand, ensuring that all ideas, messaging, and visual elements generate excitement and resonate with the target audience.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the content we produce is innovative, fresh, and engaging.
  • Creative Ideation: Generate and pitch ideas for new social media posts, ensuring they resonate with our audience and drive engagement.
  • Content Creation & Copywriting: Craft engaging posts, develop content ideas, and write compelling copy that reflects the brand's voice and messaging.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work closely with creatives, video editors, and videographers to create visual content that engages the audience.

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role in digital marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Ability to translate brand goals and messaging into engaging social content.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date on social trends.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship experience.
  • Flexible, easy to work with and has a good sense of humor.
  • Must be located in Los Angeles, as there may be opportunities for in-person collaboration.
