POSITION SUMMARY:    

The eCommerce Specialist, reporting to the eCommerce Manager, will drive direct-to-consumer (D2C) customer retention and loyalty through email marketing, SMS campaigns, loyalty programs, customer reviews, and design initiatives for Hawaiian Host Group’s consumer brands. This role also supports user experience (UX)and performance marketing for the company’s online channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a creative mindset, and a data-driven approach to optimize customer lifetime value.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist the eCommerce team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), including profitability, sales, margin, traffic, conversion rates, new customer acquisition, and average order value. 
  • Email & SMS Marketing: 
  • Develop, implement, and manage email and SMS marketing calendar. 
  • Collaborate with vendors & marketing teams on designing and executing engaging campaigns & flows. 
  • Segment customers by behavior and preferences to deliver targeted and personalized campaigns.  
  • Track and analyze email performance metrics to offer insights and actionable recommendations for boosting customer engagement and loyalty.  
  • Create and implement SMS marketing campaigns to enhance customer interaction and drive sales.  
  • Design and Content: 
  • Work closely with agency partners and marketing teams to design on-brand email templates, SMS graphics, and loyalty program materials.  
  • Create and develop creative assets for performance marketing campaigns, including images, videos, and graphics.  
  • Loyalty Programs & Customer Reviews: 
  • Manage and optimize loyalty program to drive repeat purchases and improve customer participation & retention. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to reward and incentivize loyal customers. 
  • Monitor program performance, analyze customer feedback, and recommend improvements based on data insights. 
  • D2C Website Management: 
  • Manage product listings to ensure accuracy and optimization for search engines.  
  • Conduct promotional campaigns on D2C sites, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.  
  • Upload blogs and other content pertinent to our consumers.  
  • Track website performance and key metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement as needed. 
  • Review data to identify trends and areas for improvement in products and services


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Exemplify adherence to company policies and procedures while consistently upholding high standards in all responsibilities. 
  • Fulfill any additional duties or projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to meeting organizational needs. 
  • Regular attendance is required for the position. 


Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in eCommerce. 
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite or Figma experience preferred.  
  • 1-3 years of experience in email (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Omnisend) and SMS marketing tools. 
  • Knowledge ofloyalty & retention programs (e.g.Yotpo, Recharge) preferred. 
  • Proven track record of implementing sales-enhancing strategies. 
  • Strong understanding of best practices and techniques in eCommerce. 
  • Strong project management, research, and troubleshooting skills.

$50,000 - $60,000 a year
