As an IT Administrator, you will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for the smooth operation of our IT systems and services. This role includes provisioning MacOS, Windows, and Linux laptops, managing company compute asset and user accounts, handling internal help desk requests, and overseeing internal network connectivity.
Setup and configure Mac, Windows, and Linux laptops for new and existing employees.
Track and manage IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory and lifecycle management.
Create, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts and permissions across various systems and applications.
Serve as the internal helpdesk, providing timely and effective support for hardware and software issues.
Manage internal network connectivity, ensuring a reliable and secure network infrastructure.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT processes, configurations, and procedures.
Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
Proficiency in provisioning and managing Mac, Windows, and Linux laptops.
Strong understanding of asset management and user account management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
Experience in network management, including wiring and configuration.
Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including endpoint security and firewalls.
Familiarity with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Prior experience as a helpdesk technician or similar support role.
