Come build your career with us!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Student Operations & Engagement Manager is responsible for onboarding, overseeing, and managing all processes related to supporting students within Medical City Healthcare (MCH). This includes but is not limited to providing orientation, recruitment activities, development of tools & resources to optimize the student experience, and overseeing division-wide clinical placement for the nursing discipline within the North Texas Division. The primary goal of this position is to develop and implement tactics to increase student satisfaction and make MCH the destination of choice for future colleagues. The Student Operations & Engagement Manager would meet regularly with academic partners to strengthen partnership and student satisfaction. This position demonstrates a high degree of communication, responsibility, accountability, and autonomy.• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality orientation/onboarding to new students.• Participate in workforce development and talent acquisition partnership on identifying units with the highest recruitment need and tailoring initiatives to prioritize student placement support for those clinical areas.• Participates in assessing the student experience and developing tools and resources to optimize the overall student experience.• Identify trends and collaborate with facility leadership to enhance the overall student experience.• Participates in recruitment activities.• Actively participates in academic partnership advisory board council meetings, as appropriate.• Partners with the NTX Transition to Practice (TTP) team & talent acquisition on identifying strong nursing capstone student candidates for recruitment and retention.• Partners with the clinical education and professional practice team leaders on disseminating student feedback and the implementation of student-focused tactics.• Works collaboratively with Corporate, Division, and facility leadership, particularly nursing, human resources, leadership & organizational development, and IT&S.• Collaborates on developing, implementing, and evaluating retention activities across the division.• Follows HCA Ethics and Compliance policies.What qualifications you will need:EDUCATION/LICENSURE:• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.• Master’s degree in Clinical Field, Education, or Healthcare Administration preferred.• Texas RN license.EXPERIENCE:• 5 years minimum of experience in hospital-based clinical specialty.• 2-5 years in education, organizational development, clinical leadership, HR management, or related field.• History of progressive leadership positions and abilities.Medical City Healthcare strives to deliver excellence.
