Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.HDR is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our Water Business Group team in Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, or Winston-Salem, NC, with a technical background in water and wastewater treatment plant, pump station, and pipeline construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for performing constructability reviews of project designs and leading projects during the construction administration phase. Project types could include water and wastewater treatment plants, water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations and related infrastructure projects. The candidate must be skilled in construction administration phase services coordination and management as a consulting engineer, coordinating with contractors, sub-consultants, and utility owners, coordinating technical specifications and design drawings with the design and construction team, and performing office and field services during construction. They will also be expected to direct construction administration services staff and perform client management activities to support our North Carolina Area-based Water/Wastewater team.Preferred Qualifications• PE or ability to obtain in North Carolina within 6 months preferred but not required• Experience in the construction and / or design area• Experience with water/wastewater projects primarily focused on treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines• Excellent communication skills and thrive working in a team environmentRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience• A minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety• Experience with Microsoft Office• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
