Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Environmental Planner 1, we'll count on you to:• Collect, assimilate and manage project-related data for environmental science and planning-related studies• Review mapping (GIS/CAD), studies and regulations, and assist in preparing environmental compliance documents• Assist in preparation and participation of public/client meetings• Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents• Assist senior staff in environmental task assignments• Perform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:• Master's degree in urban or regional planning preferred• Exposure to environmental analysis, CEQA or NEPA• Experience working with Transportation and Transit agencies, including Caltrans!*!Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources or Planning• Experienced in MS Office Suite• Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills• Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
