Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.Primary Responsibilities:In the role of Real Estate Services Agent 1, we’ll count on you to:• Acquire Right of Way for our clients, meet with property owners and negotiate settlements.• Coordinate right-of-way issues for clients - generally related to construction projects.• Understand federal, state and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC and Uniform Relocation Act.• Perform activities to support Real Property Projects such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination and utility relocation/coordination.• Work independently and document and communicate effectively.• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, travel, show ability to handle large volumes of work and coordinate closely with management (since work performance impacts schedule and budget).• Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications:• Microsoft Office Suite product experienceRequired Qualifications• A minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate or 120 hours of documented real estate training• Ability to understand and work in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations specific to the real estate and right-of-way industry, such as the Uniform Act, FERC and NEPA• Proficient with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Project• Strong communication skills, basic understanding of negotiation and presentation skills, and ability to work flexible hours and effectively with people of all types• Ability to work confidently with clients, property owners and occupants• Effectively balance office and field work in a collaborative and deadline-sensitive manner• Ability to communicate effectively• Availability to work flexible hours and coordinate closely with managementWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
