As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Agile Practice. This is a critical role that will play a key part in scaling our organization while ensuring effective and efficient Agile practices across the company globally.
As the Head of Agile Practice, you will be responsible for driving and overseeing the successful implementation and adoption of Agile methodologies throughout our organization. You will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our teams, enabling them to embrace Agile principles and practices to enhance productivity, collaboration, and delivery of high-quality software products. Additionally, you will work closely with executive leadership to define and implement Agile strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Roadmap Delivery: Ensure that program-wide reporting and tracking of roadmap initiatives is in place and that stakeholders are updated regularly. Owner of Agile PMO operation and continuous improvement.
- Agile Transformation: Lead the organization-wide scaled Agile transformation efforts, ensuring a smooth transition from traditional scrum agile to a scaled framework.
- Agile Coaching: Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to teams, managers, and stakeholders on Agile principles, values, frameworks and practices. Help teams identify and address any impediments to Agile adoption.

Scaling Agile: Develop strategies and frameworks to scale Agile practices across 20+ teams. Define and implement processes, tools, and techniques to enable effective collaboration and coordination among teams.

Agile Governance: Establish Agile governance practices and ensure compliance with Agile standards, policies, and procedures. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of Agile adoption and identify areas for improvement.

Agile Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. Encourage and empower teams to experiment, learn from failures, and embrace Agile principles in their day-to-day work.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and delivery timelines. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams and stakeholders.

Agile Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging Agile practices, and tools. Identify and implement best practices to enhance Agile maturity within the organization.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Agile Practice team. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading Agile transformations and scaling Agile practices in software development organizations. Ability to inspire, influence, and guide teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or SAFe. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist) is required.

Agile Coaching: Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to facilitate learning and adoption of Agile practices. Experience in coaching teams and individuals to enhance Agile mindset and practices.

Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business objectives and the ability to align Agile practices with organizational goals. Experience in translating business requirements into Agile frameworks and approaches.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: A passion for continuous learning, improvement, and innovation. Familiarity with Agile engineering practices and tools to drive software development excellence is a plus.

Change Management: Proven track record in leading organizational change initiatives, promoting Agile adoption, and managing resistance to change.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
Salary Range: USD $160,000.00 – $195,000.00*
- The above range is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
