Founded by brothers Jonathan and Alex Petrides in 2017, allplants makes plant-based living exciting and easy, delivering mouthwatering, healthier food to busy homes UK-wide. Since launching in 2017, allplants is already the leading plant-based living platform in Europe having served up >4 million meals to UK homes who subscribe for feel-good, healthier living. This track-record has resulted in a record-breaking Series B raise in Summer 2021.

The plans for 2022 and beyond are as exciting as they are delicious - growing the product range to serve a growing community, scaling our teams, expanding the production space in Blackhorse Road (The Greenhouse), as well as open a new office in Angel (The Veg Patch). The allplants team is ready to scale their inclusive celebration of food to the next level and is looking for talent like you to join its journey.

As a result of our growth needs, we’re looking to hire a Head of Brand to make sure we we scale and build the allplants brand experience with millions more people. This role will create value by building more relevant and meaningful consumer relationships.

This is a permanent opportunity, and our salary banding for the role is £65,000-100,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

What you'll be doing

• Brand Planning - you will set the drum beat of the brand building agenda across the business for the current business year as well as preparing for coming years. You will lead campaign and growth planning cycles, detailing the commercial impact of channel investments, new products, brand and messaging, territories and services to compliment today’s offering.
• Insight - harvest internal data to ensure plans are built with a consumer-centric orientation whilst also leveraging proprietary intelligence to go after the growth opportunities where we know they exist.
• Purpose - you will be passionate about and experienced in planet positive marketing, focused on driving performance through allplants purpose, to drive brand actions that will result in positive change to people and society - positive nutrition and giving people simple ways to live a net positive lifestyle.
• Team Leadership (indirect) - you will be the lead architect and coordination node of the brand building plans bringing together the knowledge and input of a) the Creative + Content team, b) the Performance Marketing team and c) the Food Innovation Team.
• Team Leadership (direct) - you will lead creation of the brand building team spanning expertise in activation, PR, partnerships and comms.
• Agency Leadership - you will be the person responsible for leading a highly motivated team of agency partners to augment the marketing work coming from the internal allplants team.
• Communications and Connections Planning - plan and design the campaign structures to take strategy through into execution with exemplary and integrated storytelling to a) offer the right product to the right person at the right time, and b) give every single person the best possible experience with the allplants brand. You will create the briefs for the creation of content marketing, social + community management (led by the Creative + Content team) and Influencer, reach and SEO (led by the Performance Marketing team).
• Building a Community - nothing is more potent than an impassioned fanbase who advocate for allplants and its mission. Working in partnership with the Head of Creative + Design, build a scaled, engaged and active community of super-fans.

What you'll need

• A naturally curious mind, seeking out opportunities for even bigger thinking.
• You bring a sense of humour, high energy, and passion for the plant-powered future we’re building.
• Substantial brand building experience, with an insatiable appetite and energy for a fast moving business. Ability to embrace the scrappiness of a start-up whilst bringing structure and direction to drive results driven impact.
• You have excelled at leading teams to deliver large scale campaigns and launches, and you combine setting a high bar while also being a hands-on coach, developing junior to senior members of your team.
• A team leader and team player; this is a new role and the team needs building. You will be as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are leading a team of direct reports.
• Track record in disrupting the status quo and being unphased by the fast-changing landscape that plant-based consumer brands operate in.
• As fluent in digital marketing as you are activating brands in the real world (ie across experience activation, shopper marketing, PR and media).
• You have a bias to action, preferring an imperfect decision that triggers learning over no decision at all
• You are a resourceful, data-driven leader, naturally entrepreneurial, with a track record of achieving exceptional delivery of results by building and motivating a great team around you
• A strategic thinker, you ask questions, track results, and strive to achieve business goals.
• You understand the trade-offs and finesse behind building a world class brand and driving rapid growth.
