About the role:
Skydio's mission is to make the world more productive, creative, and safe with autonomous flight. We are looking for a strategic, seasoned and driven policy professional to accelerate the realization of that mission. This position will focus on the federal government, partnering with Congress and federal agencies.
You will develop and lead policy on a range of important issues, including advancing national security and making soldiers safer by supporting the use of Skydio drones by the military, promoting a regulatory and policy framework designed to ensure US leadership in a new era of advanced aviation (including by enabling automated and autonomous drone operations), and unlocking the potential for Skydio drones to transform the way companies and state DOTs inspect and maintain critical infrastructure.

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $144,500 - $194,250*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
