Head of Marketing

OPPORTUNITY

Nirmata is looking for a Head of Marketing to build and execute our marketing strategy. The individual will work closely with the founders, sales, and product functions to utilize multiple channels, with a heavy focus on community, content, social media, web and email marketing, to target and nurture prospects into qualified leads.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a subject matter expert in marketing-based demand generation and help the company achieve product led growth. You’ll be hands-on and work with product and sales teams to execute Marketing programs that help the company achieve its financial goals. This position is ideal for marketing professionals looking for a leadership role at a high growth company.

SKILLS

  • 5+ years in B2B enterprise product marketing (outbound), in a software company
  • 5+ years experience doing Demand Generation for SaaS, Open Source or Cloud technology company
  • 2+ years experience doing social media marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM
  • Previous experience Marketing to I.T/Technology buyers is required.
  • Proven ability to translate technical complexity into clear, concise business benefits
  • Previous Marketing experience at early-to-mid stage technology startup highly desirable
  • Experience with Marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot, or other tools
  • Demonstrated success in working effectively with sales and product teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast moving environment – strong prioritization skills are critical
  • Great, positive attitude, high energy, innovative, charismatic, strong work ethic and detail oriented
  • A natural presenter with great communication skills
  • Understanding of enterprise DevOps is highly desired;
  • A bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and scale the marketing function for the company
  • Define and execute company’s marketing strategy
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, products and the buyer’s journey
  • Develop messaging and branding based on target customer segment
  • Develop, maintain and execute demand generation plans aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with sales to build programs that support sales enablement
  • Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance
  • Drive participation and engagement in industry and community events
