Head of Marketing

At Cobalt Robotics, our automated security products work together with remote human operators to
keep our customers safe. We patrol 24x7 to help prevent break-ins, detect massive leaks, and give
our customers visibility over their space, their assets, and their data.
Cobalt's team is composed of renowned technologists and security professionals, and backed by

We are looking for an experienced, disciplined Head of Marketing to join our team. In this role, you
will lead a team that wakes up every day to answer the question, “how do I best attract the right
buyers to Cobalt Robotics?”

Your role is focused on developing and executing the right activities that increase the number of
marketing-qualified leads and grow our brand within our industry.

This role requires working out of our Irvine, CA office. 5-10% travel.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to build brand awareness and generate marketing-qualified leads
    • Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities
    • Oversee the creation of compelling content, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, journal articles, and especially videos
    • Manage the company's social media presence and online reputation
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective lead generation programs and campaigns
    • Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and make data-driven decisions
    • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.

Requirements

    • Experience leading B2B marketing programs, with a track record of successfully building brand awareness and generating marketing-qualified leads
    • Exhibit willingness to experiment with different marketing activities to find the highest return
    • Possess expertise in branding and be able to develop and maintain a consistent brand image and messaging across all marketing channels
    • Have strong digital marketing skills and be familiar with a range of digital marketing channels, such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing
    • Be comfortable leading and managing a team of marketing professionals and contracted resources
    • Employ superior communications skills to generate compelling messaging and to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
    • Bring analytical skills to gauge effectiveness of marketing efforts across multiple channels
    • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time
