Feast It is using technology to build a better global events industry.

We’ve built a curated platform connecting the best suppliers to the most exciting events, from dinner parties for 20, to nationwide virtual events for 2,000, and right up to the UK’s most famous festivals. We believe that every event deserves incredible food, drink and entertainment and we are building the technology to unlock it for everyone.

We’ve brought together an incredible community of the nation’s finest event suppliers, from independent photographers, mixologists and florists, to the finest chefs and restaurants in the world such as Nobu, Bao, and Honest Burger. And yes, joining us means a lot of free food and tickets to events...

Only four years into our journey, our clients include everyone from Amazon, Nike and London Pride, to Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Taylor Swift. We have seen nothing but rapid growth and were named the 7th most exciting startup in the UK in 2020, were finalists in the 2019 Natwest Entrepreneur Awards, have been featured in pretty much every major publication including; The Guardian, The Times, Techcrunch, The FT and have been named in the top 15 in Tempo’s 50 Best Places to Work. We have also attracted more than £5m in funding over multiple rounds from some of the UK’s finest investors including Tim Score (Chairman of British Land), MAHR Projects, Ascension Ventures, Guy Berryman (member of Coldplay) and Richard Pennycook (Chairman of On The Beach and Boparen, former THG Chair) who has joined us as Chair.


We're looking for an experienced and commercially astute Head of Partnerships to grow and manage the business-to-business arm of the Commercial Team.

The primary focus of this role is to create and implement a scalable corporate retention strategy which is centred around account-based selling. The key to this success will be delivering an exceptional experience to each corporate customer, gaining their trust and then enabling us to capture other areas of their business. As part of this, you will be passionate about helping Feast It develop its service and product offering to business clients of all types.

The opportunities that exist for our business are vast so the ability to prioritise and execute in a dynamic environment against a challenging landscape is essential. There will be a significant amount of autonomy within the role, so an entrepreneurial approach and willingness to challenge the status quo will be required.

You will motivate, inspire and nurture the team to stretch themselves and keep improving their skills. You'll lead the tactics and strategies to achieve success and will provide leadership by example. We’re big believers in leading from the front and we expect this person to set a great example for sales success.


Responsibilities:

  • Grow and manage the business development and partnerships team.
  • Own our corporate retention strategy which is centred around account-based selling.
  • Ensure retention across existing partners by selling a market-leading product and service.
  • Refine our outbound sales processes and techniques that will enable us to hit our targets.
  • Help us get better at cross-selling. We’re transitioning to a multi-vertical event platform and the art of sales and your expertise will be critical to success. Direct experience here would be a plus.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Director and senior stakeholders to identify, implement and execute new scalable business models to existing and new clients.
  • Providing strategic direction and assisting in the development of systems and processes to strengthen relationships with corporate clients, and improving the sales cycle.

Requirements


  • Experience in a similar role in partnerships or business development in the eCommerce or SaaS space. Marketplace experience is a bonus.
  • You’ll be an authority on sales best practices, tactics and strategies. You’ll be leant on as the sales subject matter expert within the business, so you will need to be forthcoming with your expertise.
  • The ability to grow and manage a team will also be integral, so previous management experience, particularly in rapidly-scaling organisations, would be beneficial.
  • The ability to spot sales opportunities from data sets and to turn them into sales actions.
  • Equally comfortable working with leaders and team members alike.
  • You’ll have a flair for finding solutions and getting things done. We’re a startup, so you’ll need to lead from the front by strategising and executing in equal measure.
  • Are emotionally intelligent, empathetic and personable. We care about our customers and take their needs seriously, so we need you to show that too!
