Role and Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Head of Strategy will report to the Head of US Digital Health and is responsible for leading the development of the US Digital Health strategy. The position will play a significant role in shaping the global digital health strategy. This position focuses on supporting the Digital Health hardware and software strategy, executing the GTM plan, and achieving business goals.
Role and Responsibilities
Track, evaluate, and analyze market trends in digital health & wellness, medical technology, and the overall health industry
Identify opportunities for Samsung to offer differentiated solutions to meet health industry needs
Evaluate build, buy, partnership and investment options
Develop the Samsung Health strategy with a US focus and an eye to global expansion
Develop business Case, roadmap in alignment with the strategy
Lead the strategy team
Lead internal analysis of organizational performance, financial analysis and reporting

Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree (MBA or MD) required. Management consulting experience is a plus.
10+ years of relevant experience
Deep industry experiences at the cross section of technology and health including payer, provider, pharma, and health technology. Consumer technology experience preferred.
Track record of success in development and execution of strategy to meet business objectives
Experience in technology services including remote patient monitoring, technology enabled chronic disease management, care at home, consumer wellness and fitness
Excellent written & oral communication skills with proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations and effectively communicate value propositions
Experience producing highly effective presentations, developing content (e.g. written, video) and website to communicate with internal and external customers, and partners
Ability to work independently, efficiently, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines
Experience managing a team

Work is generally performed in an office environment.
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.
There will be significant travel to develop & manage business goals
The salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC, is expected to be between $210,000 and $240,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
