Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

Headspace is looking for a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to help improve the health and happiness of the world by developing and maintaining an end-to-end design system for various platforms. The role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to elevate design standards and ensure UI standards and accessibility.

Skills

7+ years of design experience in UI visual design and creating design systems
Proficiency in systems thinking within a comprehensive design framework
Advanced Figma skills for shared libraries
Strong understanding of web and mobile applications
Expert knowledge of interface patterns and behaviors
Understanding of information architecture

Responsibilities

Build and maintain an end-to-end design system for Headspace's surfaces and formats
Identify opportunities to improve the existing design system
Design workflows and internal tooling for product assets and designs
Guide and design the evolution of design systems
Design and deploy interaction patterns through components and prototypes
Enforce consistency and coherence across the design system
Define the strategy and prioritize the design system roadmap

Education

BA in interaction design, graphic design, product design, or visual design
