The Manh Choh Project is a greenfield gold deposit in eastern Alaska being developed with ore being hauled to Kinross’ Fort Knox mine north of Fairbanks for processing. The mine site is located in the Tetlin Hills, approximately 250 miles southeast of Fort Knox and 10 miles southeast of Tok. Production is expected to begin in 2024.
Promote activities designed to maintain and to improve safety awareness throughout the mine property. Support implementation of policies and procedures under the Health & Safety programs. Assist in safety audits under the Kinross Gold Corporation Environmental and Health and Safety Management System.
Provide support to the Health and Safety Department by assisting with the administration of the sites Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health Programs. Facilitate area Industrial Hygiene inspections, trainings, and monitoring activities necessary to maintain a safe and healthy workplace, consistently ensure regulatory compliance, and align daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values.
