To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team of professionals dedicated to development of an enterprise-wide business intelligence & analytics environment, reporting to a Reporting & Analytics Manager.

Compensation range: 70-100K, plus up to 10% bonus eligibility

As a Sr. BI Reporting Analyst, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Help capture and document business requirements for analytical reporting needs
  • Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of process or system improvements as they relate to analytics & reporting needs
  • Demonstrate innovation and thought leadership in how the business is analyzed and develop reporting approaches that will enhance business value and outcome
  • Support the design of various reporting dashboards, including building mock-ups and modeling various business scenarios
  • Execute front-end development of various reporting dashboards and visuals in SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Work with Developers on the technical development of views used to build KPIs, metrics and dashboards; test and validate back-end data models
  • Provide support to stakeholders including answering inquiries, investigating data issues, and documenting/evaluating reporting enhancement requests
  • Perform ad hoc analysis on various business scenarios
  • Test and validate new features, system defects, and system enhancements and/or upgrades prior to deployment
  • Collaborate with peers and business stakeholders to complete organizational initiatives
  • Additional tasks and project duties as assigned to support reporting & analytics for the organization


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must reside in the greater Indianapolis area.

    Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytical, Quantitative or STEM fields and 3+ years of experience in an analytical or reporting role OR at least 9 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to identify discrepancies, perform research therein, and work toward resolution
  • Ability to understand KPIs, operational performance metrics, and application design aesthetics
  • Knowledge of various graphs, charts and visualization components
  • Prior experience with analytical reporting tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system specifications
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple deliverables simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail/healthcare industries
  • Understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud and other SAP reporting tools based on Business Object suite of tools (Webi, Analysis for Office)
  • Well versed in user experience and user design techniques
  • Understanding of key integration aspects across SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Fiori
  • Familiarity with agile project management and scrum methodologies
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
