In this role you will be responsible for the safe and accurate receiving/shipment of machines and parts to/from the plant to the facility. The primary objective is to have zero mis-shipments and cargo claims.
Job Description:
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers or railcars
- Safely operatevarious pieces of construction equipment to accomplish duties listed above including driving, backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport.

Read/interpret all paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including but not limited to; bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation.

Scale all loads that are preloaded for drivers including gross weight, axle weights, and axle groups, and verify road worthiness of trailer.

Operate hand tools regularly used in loading or yard activity such as banding machines, air wrenches and hammers, or other commonly used hand tools.
Job Requirements:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Experience operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts

Basic mechanical skills

Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function

Physical ability:

Frquent lift and carrying up to 50 pounds

Capable of completing a full workday walking and/or standing in all weather conditions

Current valid drivers license
