Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic

CMC is looking to fill two positions:

Heavy Equipment Mechanic to dispatch out of the Louisville, KY OR Jeffersonville, IN location. Work to include in shop and in field repair and maintenance.

A CMC heavy equipment mechanic works both in a shop and in a field environment, performing repair and maintenance work on construction, mining, material handling, and paving equipment. This position requires someone who can be a flexible, reliable and trustworthy while demonstrating pride in their work and doing what's is right for CMC and its customers.

Ideal Candidates

Heavy Equipment Repair technician /Mechanic

• Strong working knowledge of equipment mechanical functions.
• Computer diagnostics to determine failure and make necessary repairs.
• Ability to work productively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
• Safety First mentality while maintaining high productivity.
• Technician owns, updates and maintains sufficient hand tools to perform the job.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
