Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.What you will be doing:Associate Director, Marketing Project Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of Project Managers within the Marketing function and is pivotal in ensuring the efficient execution of Marketing initiatives. This role owns the planning, management and deployment of the Marketing budget and project prioritization across the full Marketing team. The Associate Director is responsible for driving improvements in Marketing operations through workflow optimization, cross functional partnerships, software improvements and vendor contract negotiations. This role directs the team that plans, schedules and ensures completion of all Marketing projects including strategic and creative briefing, brand copywriting, graphic and structural design of packaging for 1700+ products, creative content design and production including all photography and video, content delivery, retail marketing projects (such as in-store signage, retail media asset delivery, shelf renders, and merchandising), and Marketing campaign project management.• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of Marketing projects.• Develop and implement best practices for Project Management and team collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.• Lead all aspects of the planning, execution, and completion of Marketing projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.• Lead project risks and develop mitigation plans.• Analyze budget performance, financial resource allocation and implement cost-saving measures.• Develop and supervise key performance indicators (critical metrics) to measure project success and team performance.• Collaborate with retail partners and key team members to optimize in-store marketing efforts.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and project alignment.• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on marketing project matters.• Manage vendor contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and positive relationships.Skills needed to be successful in this role:• Demonstrated experience leading project management• Confirmed understanding of design-related processes including photography, retouching, printing and packaging production• Comfort with large master data sets and complex global product portfolios• Very organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience presenting and communicating effectively with senior leadership• Ability to lead and work collaboratively and independently• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills• Ability to negotiate contracts and handle vendor relationships• Proficiency in project management software and toolsMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field• 10+ years of prior experience in creative project/account management with an emphasis on branding and packaging• Experience at major branding/packaging design firms, in-house design studios or creative / media agencies• 6+ years of experience in marketing project management, with 2+ years in a leadership role• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Basecamp SmartSheet project management software; experience with Adobe Creative Suite• Strong background in agency work with a proven track record of leading sophisticated projects and heavy workloads• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to work with large data sets• Experience with global product portfolios and understanding of international markets• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications:• Project Management Certification (PMP, CPM, MPM)In New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $114,882.82 - $172,324.23 annually. This base pay range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance.
