Overview:
As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role will provide front-line user support (consultation, training, documentation, etc.) to the organization for hardware, software and other computer related services and issues. To ensure success as a Helpdesk Specialist, you should possess a working knowledge of all technical support fundamentals, have excellent communication and critical-thinking skills and display a full commitment to providing user satisfaction and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment. Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

This Hybrid role requires availability to come into the Rye Brook, NY office 2-3 days/week. The regular daily working hours for this role are 12:00-8:00pm ET; with flexibilty to help cover earlier ET hours as needed (EX: trainings, team coverage, special projects). LLS has a 35-hour work week.
While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s Strategic Talent Partner.

Accountabilities:

Provides technical support services

Responsible for National Office and chapter hardware and software support (installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.)

Provides heavy phone support to the organization on a variety of PC related services

Performs hardware/software troubleshooting in a standalone, remote and networked environment

Responsible for setting up, configuring and troubleshooting laptops, desktops and printers and other computer peripherals

Logs all calls into the Help Desk support center site Supports the LLS user community

Responsible for maintenance, installation and support of various computer application software

Maintains an effective working relationship with chapter system administrators

Prepares documentation and procedures

Provides training as necessary Supporting the environment

Responds to helpdesk system based requests for support from end users

Qualifications:
Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience and/or certifications

2+ years helpdesk experience providing technical support in a structured environment

Average annual salary is $50,000 - $55,000. Open to further discussion based on geography.
