Help Desk Technician

IDR is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join one of our top clients in Dallas, TX! If you are looking for an opportunity to join a large organization and work within an ever-growing team-oriented culture, please apply today!

Schedule: On-site for the first 30 days then hybrid (1 week in-office, 1 week from home)

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Help Desk Technician:

  • Resolving tickets in a timely manner
  • Supporting and troubleshooting hardware
  • Successfully running and troubleshooting virus scans
  • Basic end user connectivity and software support
  • Installing and troubleshooting software
  • Installing and troubleshooting network printers
  • Mobile phone configuration and support
  • Create scan folders for network printers
  • 90% remote support, must be comfortable in a call center environment

Required Skills for the Help Desk Technician:

  • 4+ years professional experience within desktop support (support Windows 7 & Windows 10)
  • 2+ years' networking experience (LAN, Wifi, Network hardware)
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting end user hardware

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

  • Desktop support: 4 years (Required)
