This is an opportunity to continue your development in User Support while working cross functionally with multiple divisions within Hologic. Our Help Desk Team works together supporting all levels of the company with various installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting duties.

What to expect:

The IT Help Desk Technician will work on a rotating basis with some after hour coverage supporting 3 divisions (Breast & Skeletal Health, Surgical, Diagnostic). This position will be customer facing and requires a high level of customer service in addition to IT technical abilities. Successful candidates will be able to support all levels of the organization from operations to c-suite with a white glove mentality.

What we expect:

We expect IT Help Desk support to work on a rotating basis with some after-hours coverage answering help desk phone calls. You will route help desk tickets to appropriate technicians or support groups and provide on the spot troubleshooting as time allows. Other responsibilities include systems installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Travel to other Hologic sites to provide support as needed will be required with ample noticed prior to conference events.

Skillset:

  • Windows 7 & 10 experience
  • Microsoft Office 2013 experience or above
  • Knowledge of Laptop/Printer Hardware
  • Networking and Wireless skills a plus
  • PC/Laptop build experience
  • Active Directory and Windows server product experience desired
  • Desktop support tools knowledge
  • Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve basic PC/Network problems quickly and accurately; contacts vendors as needed
  • Anti-Virus, Malware, Spam experience desired
  • Ability to be an active participant and contributor on a professional IS Support Team
  • Good communication skills, telephone support skills, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • IT service management system experience desired (ServiceNow experience a plus)
  • Ability to work assignments that are routine in nature and recognize deviation from accepted practice

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS MIS or CIS (or related technical discipline) desired
  • 2-3 years’ experience in IT Help Desk support

The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $46,800-$70,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
