Every day, our worldwide team of around 14,800 employees are bringing forward new ideas and solutions that are impacting and transforming everything from healthcare to renewable energy to e-mobility to high-tech and telecommunications.The following challenges await you:• The primary responsibility of this position is to execute the purchase to pay process, considering quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership, acting in a global environment.• Executes the operational procurement of all materials within the product portfolio (SAP), including the overall Purchase to Pay process.• Manages suppliers for specific commodity. Maintains cooperative working relationship with Suppliers to stay current with trends and technologies, products, and services. Evaluates current supplier base and develop a plan to optimize for current and future HEPN needs. Negotiates contracts and purchase orders with suppliers. Serves as the first escalation point for any supplier performance issues.• Prepares and processes purchasing orders.• Resolves problems and issues arising from purchases of goods, services, supplies and equipment with internal and external customers.• Responsible for the correct handling of On-Time-Deliveries (OTD-S), based on golden rules.• Responsible for the dunning process.• Prepares documentation for product to be Returned to Vendor (RTV).Your ProfileWe are looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to bring fresh thinking, energy and a creative perspective to their work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate would possess include:• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field, and a minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement. Experience with within the chemical industry is preferred. APICS Certification is preferred.• Must be proficient in ERP system such as SAP and possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.• * Able to organize and plan tasks as scheduled or ahead of time. Can handle multiple assignments or project tasks of high complexity.
