Software Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our Technical Delivery team.

Essential Job Duties
  • Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
  • Designing and developing SSIS / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous systems for processing.
  • Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another.
  • Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data.
  • Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) and database security.
  • Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations.
  • Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.
  • Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans.


Other Job Duties
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.


Travel Requirements
  • Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel


Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or other related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience as a software engineer in commercial web-scale system software development and delivery
  • Combination of .NET frameworks and SQL Server experience with T-SQL programming (minimum 2 years)
  • Having experience between 1-2 years developing SQL queries in MS SQL server 2008, 2012,2017.
  • Having experience between 1-2 years working with Microsoft technologies like ASP.Net, VB.Net/C#.Net, and Web Services.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Experienced in VB.NET/C# programming language.
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools related to API (Postman, WCF Client)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality.
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently.
  • Should be a self-motivated, independent, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA/Bit Bucket will be added advantage.


The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $81,000-93,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
