Who You Are: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating all vendor contracts and renewals, with a primary focus on reducing costs to enhance our gross and net margins. You will be the sole individual dedicated to procurement at our company, working closely with key stakeholders, including the CFO, to ensure that our vendor relationships are strategically managed to deliver maximum value


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Vendor Contract Negotiation: Lead and manage negotiations for all vendor contracts, including but not limited to Google Cloud, Twilio, and various software vendors.
  • Cost Reduction: Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs, aiming to increase both gross and net margins.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of vendor contracts, from initial negotiation to renewal, ensuring that all agreements are in line with company goals and financial objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the CFO and department heads, to understand procurement needs and align them with the company’s financial strategy.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and vendor performance to ensure we are getting the best value.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure ongoing collaboration and value delivery.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CFO and other senior leadership on procurement activities, cost savings, and contract performance.


What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with a strong track record of negotiating vendor contracts, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Skills:
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud), telecommunications (e.g., Twilio), and enterprise software procurement.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial metrics and how procurement decisions impact gross and net margins.
