About the Role

HighLevel Inc is looking for a WordPress Specialist to join our talented WordPress Team. We are seeking a WordPress Specialist to join our team and help tackle customer issues, ensuring they have the best possible experience with our services.


About the Team

The WordPress team is dedicated to achieving the highest revenue generation for add-on products within GHL. The WordPress team's main objective is to establish itself as the premier managed hosting platform, offering users a secure, faster, and robust hosting experience. Our product empowers agencies with effortless resell capabilities.


Responsibilities
  • Customer Support
  • Provide expert-level support for WordPress-related issues via tickets, live chat, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to WordPress themes, plugins, and core functionality.
  • Assist customers with site migrations, updates, and optimizations.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Analyze and solve performance issues, ensuring websites run efficiently on our managed hosting platform.
  • Implement security measures and resolve security-related issues.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
  • Assist in migration of Wordpress sites
  • Development and Customization
  • Customize WordPress Sites based on customer needs.
  • Develop custom solutions and integrations to enhance website functionality.
  • Assist with website design and layout improvements.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with our development and product teams to improve our managed hosting services.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for enhancing our support processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service.
  • Knowledge Sharing
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for internal use and customer support.
  • Conduct training sessions and webinars for customers on WordPress best practices and our hosting services.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments and trends.


Required Skills
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Specialist or similar role, preferably in a managed hosting environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, PHP Settings and core functionality
  • Experience with web hosting environments, including cPanel, WHM, and other hosting control panels
  • Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques (e.g., caching, CDN, minification)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are passionate about building sites using WordPress
  • You have a strong bias for action
  • You have a customer-first attitude
