About the Role 

As a Principal Software Engineer on the Analytics Visualizations team at Highspot, you will work end-to-end across the full SDLC to create brand-new product features and improve frontend functionality and performance. The Analytics Visualization team empowers the generation of scorecards, data-visualizations and reports; that enable our customers to make informed decisions about their revenue enablement strategies.  Some of the technologies we use include React, Typescript, GraphQL, and HighCharts. 

We are in search of individuals who have extensive experience in Data Visualization and Front-end development, are highly product-focused, possess sophisticated technical skills, and thrive in contributing to a multifaceted analytics platform. You should be self-sufficient and deeply passionate about making a significant impact at Highspot. 

• Develop new product features and functionality
• Create architecture and design documents
• Partner cross-functionally with UX and Product Management to create the best software possible
• Write maintainable and testable code
• Write clean, reusable, testable UI components

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience, not including internships/co-ops

• Proficiency in delivering large-scale, highly performant frontend capabilities with extensive experience building data-visualizations. 
• Embraces the entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
• Comfortable with modern open source technologies and tools
• 8+ years of experience developing software products, scalable internet software, and applications using a range of software models including object-oriented and functional design patterns
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Base salary range: $167,826 - $252,174 Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, stock options, and other forms of compensation.

The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
