Job Description:Conrad Indianapolis is currently seeking a Hotel Reception Supervisor to join its Front Office Team. It has 247 exquisite rooms, 15,000 square feet of event space, and 3 top-class dining spots - The Capital Grille, Tastings - Wine Bar & Bistro, and in-room dining.What will I be doing?Your primary responsibility, as a Front Office Supervisor, will be to delegate tasks to the Front Office team and ensure that they carry them out to the best of their ability. This will contribute towards maintaining excellent financial yields for the hotel:• Direct a team of employees and ensure that the required actions and activities are performed with utmost responsibility and finesse, such as greeting guests, maintaining smooth running of the lobby, providing luggage assistance, operating phone lines, and setting room tariffs appropriately• Address guest complaints with a sense of urgency and provide satisfactory solutions in a timely fashion• Work alongside team members to facilitate guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution• Develop a schedule, direct daily activities, initiate huddles before shifts, educate and instruct the team• Regularly monitor team member progress through check-ins, team meetings, and individual performance reviews• Observe the amount of activity in the lobby and adjust staffing to ensure efficient serviceWe are seeking to uncover what lies beneathHilton, a pioneer in the hospitality industry, was founded in 1919.
