Sr. Software Engineer, Backend (Platform)
Hims & Hers is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Store Backend Platform team to help build a fast, reliable, and frictionless telemedicine experience.
Skills
- 5+ years experience as a software engineer
- Experience with Java and Kotlin
- Experience with back end distributed system design
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Proficiency with continuous integration/delivery
- Experience with Relational Databases
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services that power telehealth and ecommerce platforms
- Collaborate with product managers and team members to guide decisions
- Provide leadership and guidance on architecture and design implementation
- Deliver cross-domain integration solutions
- Contribute to operational excellence through on-call responsibilities
- Coach and mentor team members
- Participate in retrospectives and drive continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
