Registered Nurse Researcher (Singaporian English)

Hours: 5-10 hours per week

Overview:

We are seeking a Singaporean English speaker to assist in evaluating and refining our Singaporean English-speaking medical Large Language Model. This role involves providing expertise on medical Singaporean English, offering cultural insights, and reviewing error reports from simulated patient interactions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Singaporean English-speaking patients and a keen understanding of the nuances in medical communication within this demographic.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Singaporean English-speaking Medical Model: Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of our Singaporean English-speaking model, ensuring it aligns with clinical standards and cultural expectations.

• Provide Insights: Advise on linguistic and cultural nuances to improve patient communication and model effectiveness.

• Review Error Reports: Analyze and provide feedback on error reports from simulated patient calls, identifying areas for improvement.

• Ongoing Support: Offer continued evaluation and advice as the model evolves.

Qualifications:

• Nursing License: Valid nursing license in your practicing country.

• Fluency in Singaporean English: Proficiency in both general and medical Singaporean English.

• Experience with Singaporean English-speaking Patients: Demonstrated experience working with Singaporean English-speaking patients, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and effectively.

• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, especially in identifying and addressing language and cultural nuances in medical communication.

Preferred Skills:

• Cultural Competence: Understanding of cultural variations and their impact on healthcare delivery among Singaporean English-speaking communities.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with virtual communication tools and model evaluation processes.
