Junior Accountant/Project Coordinator

We’re looking for a Junior Accountant/Project Coordinator with a background in accounting, particularly in Accounts Payable and Receivable, along with some experience in project management.

The ideal candidate will also support various administrative tasks and be a flexible team player, ready to assist both within and outside of project management duties.

A passion for video games and familiarity with the gaming industry is a big plus!

Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Working with the COO and CEO on Accounts Payable and Receivables
  • Reconciling of Bank Statements
  • Management and overseeing of P&L and reconciliations
  • Payroll and reimbursement management with ADP
  • Invoicing clients
  • Paying vendor bills
  • Following up with clients on past due invoices
  • Some interaction with the CPA Office

Administrative:

  • Administrative and clerical duties, creating reports, possible travel planning, and maintaining files.
  • Helping organize clients, notes, MSAs, SOWs, and other types of paperwork
  • Keeping status sheets organized and helping with SLACK and Airtable.
  • Some HR responsibilities including insurance, ADP, 401k etc.

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working in accounting and project management.
  • Candidate MUST have a full knowledge of QUICKBOOKS.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented, prepared to roll up their sleeves, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate must be able to multitask.
  • Candidate must have background in finance. Individual must be computer literate, proficient with basic Office applications, Microsoft Office, Slack, Airtable.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, eager to jump in and make a difference with a dynamic organization.
