It's with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Manager, UX to our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team while having a substantial impact on our growth. Reporting to our SVP, Product and Growth, you will own UX strategy, manage a team of UX designers, and lead cross-functional projects to ensure our overall user, customer, and process experiences are key drivers of customer retention & NPS. It's a unique leadership role blending design, product, technical, and commercial aspects. As the Manager, UX your responsibilities will include:
Functional Expertise & Leadership:
Continue to develop upon the UX vision, strategy, and roadmap as it relates to initiatives, approaches... methodologies, or tools to be built in advance to help deliver the Product roadmap Continue to develop upon UX principles & guidelines to help drive some or all of product adoption, feature discovery, product engagement, and product commercialization Own and drive key active research roadmap and initiatives to ensure business goals & product roadmap are aligned with customer preferences Lead quarterly or annual brainstorming exercises that proactively identify strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities to help support the product roadmap Design and implement programs to engage with customers and users several times a week Institutionalize a prototyping and iterative approach to rapidly achieving business and customer outcomes People / Project / Process Management:
Lead and inspire a team of UX / UI designers to bring their best selves to work Actively develop and empower the UX team with access to skills, methodologies, and modern tool sets Resource & plan future needs to ensure UX team is aligned with the rest of Product reinforcing the UX function as a key product ingredient to product success Set up & maintain internal processes to ensure daily / weekly / monthly team adherence to product process and drive productivity Help break complex work into deliverables and prioritize initiatives across direct reports, company leaders, and stakeholders Establish KPIs and develop a deep, data-based understanding of the various user & customer journeys and what elements drive Product's metrics Product-wide Initiative Taking:
Provide Product-wide direction & guidance and actively contribute to product vision & strategy to ensure product roadmap is aligned with customer preferences Own, co-lead, or actively contribute to company-wide initiatives that involve customer needs such as pricing, feature research, new market growth research, VoC, etc. Interact daily with SVP, Product and Growth and represent Product at various executive-level formats So what kind of person are we looking for in this role? Okay, we've laid out what the job is - now are you qualified? Below are the minimum qualifications we're looking for in a Manager, UX candidate. We'd like to have a glance at some of your best work, so please include a design portfolio. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, and or equivalent practical experience 3
years of experience managing and leading design teams 7
years of experience in UX Design or related Design field Experience leading complex end-to-end UX projects for multiple personas or customer types Evidence of data-based decision making across multiple products & customer journeys Must have an innovative, strategic, technical, and commercial mindset Proven ability to partner & coordinate across diverse functions including Customer Success, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Marketing Strong communication skills, including effective business & technical writing Highly collaborative team leader who works effectively in a fast-paced, energetic, and results-driven environment Experience with popular data analytics & visualization packages (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics, Heap) Background in SaaS and/or HR Tech preferred Portfolio of UX-focused work A few benefits of working at Hireology:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
