Andy's Frozen Custard is hosting OPEN INTERVIEWS at our GLEN ELLYN location to hire Store Associates who can work Closing shifts as late as 12:30/1am.

Schedule: Saturday 8/5 from 12 pm - 3 pm.

**Starting Pay-Up to $17.50/hr**

Full-Time 30-40 Hrs/Week

Part-Time 20-30 Hrs/Week

Overview:

While this is an entry-level position, a Store Associate is a vital part of our Andy’s team! Associates are actually the face of our brand. This individual works at a very fast pace, creating and delivering the best treats in the world, while also providing exceptional customer service. Store Associates are a large part of the entire Andy’s experience!

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by using a “customer comes first” attitude
• Efficiently accepts orders, creates treats with accuracy, serves treat(s) to customers
• Handles transaction for customer and accepts payment or makes change if needed
• Operates custard machines and ensures high quality product is produced
• Performs cleaning duties, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes to keep equipment and facilities sanitary, using approved cleaning products
• Always maintain all health and safety regulations
• Follow Andy’s operational policies and procedures
• Follow Andy’s Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy

Requirements:

• No previous experience is required, but preferred
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be 16+ years of age
• Must be able to work nights (as late as 1am), weekends, as well as some holidays
• Complete training in all areas of store within designated amount of time
• Complete all required tasks on Andy’s Waitrainer modules, and continue ongoing education on Waitrainer and other resources
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to learn quickly
• Must be able to use touch sensitive POS Tablet
• Effective oral communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Ability work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing and walking
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
• Constant computer, point-of-sale register, and found equipment usage
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around fountain area
• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
