Key Responsibilities;

Risk Control and Fraud Prevention:

• Design and implement chargeback protection and fraud prevention strategies tailored to HitPay’s merchant services.

• Monitor, detect, and identify fraudulent activities using advanced analytical tools and techniques.

• Formulate and optimise risk management strategies for various business scenarios and payment processes.

• Establish early warning monitoring systems based on business data, risk parameters, and evolving threats.

• Deploy and continuously improve payment risk control models, ensuring effective fraud mitigation.

Product Development and Optimisation:

• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to design and enhance risk control features in HitPay’s offerings.

• Analyse market trends and customer feedback to gather requirements for risk management features.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of risk control products to ensure they meet client needs and regulatory standards.

• Drive product optimisation efforts to maintain a competitive edge in the payment services market.

Strategic Contributions:

• Develop and advocate for HitPay’s risk strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and market demands.

• Propose process improvements, new risk policies, and capabilities to enhance HitPay’s risk management framework.

• Represent HitPay’s risk controls and processes to external stakeholders including financial partners, regulators, and industry bodies.

• Achieve revenue targets by effectively positioning and integrating risk management solutions within HitPay’s product suite.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Manage key risk relationships with financial partners, including bank sponsors and payment networks, ensuring alignment with HitPay’s risk policies.

• Effectively communicate complex risk requirements to HitPay’s leadership and ensure they are prioritised across the organisation.

• Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues across Product, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to support seamless product launches and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or a related field within the fintech or payment services industry.

• Strong understanding of cross-border payments, chargeback protection, and financial risk control products.

• Experience in product development, particularly in designing and optimizing risk control features.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.

• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve revenue targets through effective risk management.
