The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will assist the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest level of service for our guests, and promoting our people-first workplace culture.Responsibilities:• Serve as the primary point of leadership for the front desk and housekeeping departments.• Assist the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, amenities, and sundries.• Ensure that the hotel is operating efficiently and effectively.• Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff.• Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and profitability.• Assist in regular review of financial reports in tandem with leadership to ensure that the hotel is meeting its financial goals.• Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that any complaints are resolved quickly and effectively.• Maintain a strong working relationship with all team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.Qualifications:• Preference given to candidates with a hospitality management educational background.• At least 2 years experience in hotel management with an operational background preferred.• Excellent communication and customer service skills.• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.• Knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.• Experience with hotel management software preferred.• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, on-call, or covering shifts as needed.If this sounds like a place where you would thrive and you meet the above requirements, we would encourage you to apply for this unique opportunity!Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dahlonega is an equal employment opportunity employer.
