GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Golden 1 Credit Union offers a personalized experience for interns. Our goal is to give interns a glimpse of what it is like working for a fast-growing, diverse, and exceptional financial institution. Our 8-week internship program will consist of department specific job duties/projects, as well as professional development workshops, networking sessions with G1 leaders, and an end of the internship team project that will be presented to senior executives.

The Golden 1 Credit Union’s Home Loans Department is hiring an Intern to assist with various Home Loans projects. The Intern can expect to get hands-on experience in the fast-growing and high demand field of Home Loans. The Intern will assist the internal production team with daily responsibilities and learn more about the origination of home loans. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring HLA email box and placing orders for the HLA assets for new hires.
• Assigning Loans to Home Loan Advisors (HLA’s).
• Assisting members in getting required loan conditions and working with the Buyer Advantage Program.
• Answering calls and directing members to appropriate contacts.
• Assisting in Home Loans Events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student as defined by the school, organization, or institution.
• GPA of at least a 3.2
• Junior & Senior standing in the Fall.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND DETAILS:

• Intern Program: Intern must be available for the duration of the 8-week program.
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm
• Golden 1 Credit Union does not provide any form of housing reimbursement or relocation package for interns.

LOCATION:
This position is currently Hybrid but is subject to change depending on CDC and CAL/OSHA guidelines and regulations.
