Why We Need You:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Product Analytics to spearhead and expand our product analytics function. This person will pioneer the roadmap for product analytics, ensure the effectiveness of our embedded product analysts within product teams, and evolve our analytical capabilities to meet the unique needs of our business.

  • Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the vision for product analytics, ensuring alignment with Homebase’s overarching goals and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and guide/lead a team of product analysts. Ensure they are effectively embedded within product teams to drive data-informed decisions and impact teams’ strategy
  • Analytical Framework: Establish standardized methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices to analyze product usage and drive actionable insights across the company
  • Data Quality & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of product data across all platforms and channels. Make sure the data and metrics are understood and used well
  • Data Education: Champion a culture of data literacy and self-service capabilities across the organization, providing training and resources to teams outside of product analytics
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and executive stakeholders to prioritize and answer the most critical business questions we have and help them prioritize 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, tools, and technologies to ensure our product analytics function remains cutting-edge with best-in-class tools
Experience & Attributes You Bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in product analytics, with a demonstrated history of building, scaling and leading analytical teams and cross- functional projects in fast-paced environments
  • Expertise in analytical tools and platforms such as Looker, Amplitude, SQL, Redshift and GSheets
  • Deep experience in and understanding of product-led growth business model in a B2B SaaS company and relevant metrics / best practices
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to a diverse audience ranging from engineers to product managers to executives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Resourceful, fundamentally curious and relentless in understanding the “why”. Possesses a sense of urgency in line with our value of “No Day Wasted”
  • Loves local businesses -- supporting and building great products for them
