Role Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join Homebound as our Sales Manager - Lot Acquisition. This role will work in partnership with the sales leadership and investment strategy teams to support the business strategy which includes growing, scaling and motivating the lot acquisition team comprised of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Land Acquisition Agents (LAAs)

 

You will lead a team of 6-10 SDRs and 2-4 LAAs who are responsible for consulting with homeowners across multiple markets, driving top of funnel growth and ultimately putting lots under contract. You will develop and execute on a data-driven development strategy, with a focus on repeatable and consistent processes enabling your team to capitalize on conversion.  You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

What You'll Do:

  • Hire, onboard, develop and retain a team of high performing sales professionals

  • Coach team using call reviews, performance-metric reviews, skill sessions, career and personal development 1x1s

  • Lead and create team meetings to keep the team informed, updated, and educated 

  • Measure team and individual performance with constant reporting and measuring of various KPIs

  • Driving sales process adherence, measurement, and management across teams

  • Providing accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts

  • Partner closely with underwriting team to improve conversion and develop initiatives to acquire lots 

 

 

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 of leadership experience managing a quota carrying sales team

  • 5+ years of sales experience within a software/technology, or construction/homebuilding company

  • Proven experience utilizing Salesforce CRM, Groove, or similar SDR management software

  • Proven experience writing sales scripts, plans and tracking activity volume

  • A keen ability to dive deep into data and extract meaningful insights and drive initiatives backed by data

  • Proven track record of consistent mentoring and coaching resulting in over-achievement of quotas

  • Fostering a positive attitude, the ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced, highly variable environment and the enthusiasm required to maintain long-term focus

  • Proven experience building a fun and collaborative sales environment

  • Hit or exceed all team goals

  • Continuously improve lot acquisition conversion throughout the funnel

  • Establish workplace and team environment centered around revenue and corporate culture

  • Iterate on meeting and coaching framework
