Managing systems/procedures/documents, utilizing results to improve outflow and presenting the status. Supporting & managing technician while handling critical conversations, managing schedules including PTO and performing yearly evaluations..Responsibilities include:Lead procedure and document creation for sampling technicians. Identify necessary updates from drawings/specifications and opportunities for process improvements.Manage and support direct reports to ensure targets are met on time within the groupCreate and update databases to track data based on current business needs, direct report feedback and continuous improvement activity.Summarize sampling activity status and present information to management to declare event readiness/completion. Create improvement / recovery plan for any gap items.Coordinate root cause investigation and containment for triggered problem itemsLead Internal/External audit activity and relevant meetings from sampling viewpoint to represent team in a professional mannerRequired Experience:2+ years in Technical role based on educationRequired Education:Bachelor/Associate/Technical degree in automotive or related field; or equivalent experienceOther job specific skills:Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to extract drawing/specification information from NEWS/Mainframe/BEAMCommunication skills for presenting and ability to train new associatesKnowledge of manufacturing environment and processesAdditional Position Factors:Flexibility in work hours and approximately 1-Hour OT per dayWeekend work (Including shutdown) and production support as needed/scheduledDaily job function variability and environment (Indoor Lab/Production Line & Outdoor)Honda is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor.
