The Capital One Travel team at Hopper built and maintains a multi-billion dollar travel portal which provides delightful travel experiences for millions of customers. As the Senior Product Manager, Customer Experience, you will partner with a team of Engineers and Designers, to deliver a best in class digital travel experience.


You will write business cases to frame new opportunities, own a product development roadmap, lead sprint planning for a dedicated team of engineers, and obsess over customer feedback to prioritize the most critical product enhancements and new feature launches. You will work in a fast paced environment and be responsible for driving real impact.


What would your day-to-day look like:
  • Conduct product discovery to inform new feature development, ingesting feedback from multiple channels, ensuring engineering capacity is spent on the most critical features
  • Create and maintain a product development roadmap that clearly highlights the customer and business impact of your work
  • Partner with a diverse team to develop and deploy customer facing features, including Design, Engineering, QA, Legal, Finance, Marketing and our B2B Clients
  • Manage engineering sprints.  Work with a dedicated engineering squad to test and launch new features at a steady cadence.
  • Facilitate learning. Hypothesize and A/B test critical features to drive understanding and seek product-market fit for the work on your roadmap.
  • Obsess over data. Become intimately familiar with customer behaviour, incentives and purchase patterns
  • Own the experience. Think strategically about how to disrupt travel and deliver experiences that delight and surprise a large customer base, make Capital One Travel the only place you want to book
  • Make sense of customer feedback from multiple channels to form a cohesive and streamlined feedback loop


An ideal candidate has:
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a consumer facing product
  • Strong product sense for user experience and design 
  • Highly proficient analytical abilities to draw accurate conclusions from data, SQL proficiency is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with external partners
  • Ownership and pride in their work, is uncomfortable with poorly developed products

$150,000 - $320,000 a year
The yearly total compensation for this position ranges from 150 000$ to 320 000$ CAD. Base salary will be determined by candidates' relevant qualifications, knowledge, skills and work experience. 

Total compensation will include a solid base salary and will also include equity (options / RSUs), potentially a sign-on bonus and other potential incentives as per the "perks and benefits" section.
