Whether you are early in your career or an expert in your field, you will find HSS an innovative, supportive and inclusive environment.Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise.Clinical Nutritionist I - InpatientCasualPosition SummarySuccessful candidate will support the clinical nutrition team at Hospital for Special Surgery by providing comprehensive nutrition care to our patients including but not limited to adult/pediatric nutrition assessment and re-assessment, malnutrition identification and management, nutrition support administration, nutrition education, and discharge planning.Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive nutrition care to inpatients according to medical condition and nutrition needs• Develop treatment plan to promote wound healing after surgery and maintenance• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and communications• Provide nutrition education and counselingSkills/Attributes required• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service and ability to communicate with all team members to resolve problems• Ability to take initiative, work independently and efficiently• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills• Ability to handle heavy workload with good time management skills and efficiency• Experience with Epic and CBORD (Foodservice Suite) preferredQualificationsRequired Credentials• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD)• Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) in NYS• Masters degree preferredOther Requirements#LI-NR1Pay Range - MinimumUSD $42.00/Hr.Pay Range - MaximumUSD $42.00/Hr.Employment Type: CONTRACTOR
