Processes studies to include preparation for interpretation by the physician and a preliminary test result. Provides patient care in accordance with the standards of care specific to age and the individuals' needs. Qualifications Education Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program is required. Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred. Experience Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required. OR must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
