Job title:

Production Team Member, Industrial Athlete, Robotics Technician, Coach, Mentor, and Supervisor positions available. Hires are needed to fill newly created positions and to backfill recently departed team members.

Starting Rate:

1st shift [40 hours/week]: $16.90/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $49,320.96*

2nd shift [40 hours/week]: $17.90/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $52,239.36*

3rd shift [40 hours/week]: $18.90/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $55,157.76*

WKD shift [36 hours/week]: $18.90/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $53,778.82*

Leadership Positions: $19.90-24.90/hour (starting base) + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $56,624.26* to $72,668.16*

*Gross figures listed above do not include taxes, benefit deductions, overtime earnings, HSA/401(k) employer contributions, etc., nor do they factor in possible unpaid absences*

Additional wage increases occur at 1 year, 1.5 years, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, etc. + an annual cost of living adjustment that is observed every February.

FLSA Status:

Hourly/Non-Exempt with Salaried Non-Exempt and Salaried Exempt growth opportunities.

Hours Required:

1st shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday (A) 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM or (B) 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

2nd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM

3rd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 8:15 PM to 6:45 AM

WKD shift - 12 hours: Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Breaks/Lunch:

Shift times & lengths vary depending on department/shift.

1st, 2nd & 3rd shift receive 1-15 minute paid break & 1-30 minute unpaid lunch break. Our 12 hour shifts receive 2-15 minute paid breaks and 1-30 paid lunch break.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

None needed. On-the-job training is provided. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates with previous manufacturing or leadership experience may be given preference over those without.

Role Overview: Hourly production team members are responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing of orders. These orders include, but are not limited to: architectural, residential, and commercial units, stalls, railings, windows, walls, doors, etc. Ideal candidates are those looking for long-term employment opportunities who are also interested in leadership opportunities, building teams, and improving processes.

Dress Code/Protective Gear: Work gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed or composite shoes. Certain departments within the facility do require the wear of supplied cut-resistant clothing.

Essential Functions:

  • Read, comprehend and execute production/scheduling plan by following the production schedule
  • Operate a computer
  • Manipulate knobs on machinery
  • Lift up to 50 lbs manually - may be more weight utilizing team lifting or articulating hoists
  • Push/pull tables and racks of glass
  • Verbally communicate with other production team members to coordinate tasks
  • Assist in the insurance safe working environment for self and fellow team members by addressing safety concerns, training, and by holding team members accountable to Cardinal LG’s safety standards
  • Is responsible for evaluating weekly punches for self via paper time edits and/or electronically via Attendance on Demand
  • Works closely with Department Manager, Shift Manager, Supervisor, and/or other Production Team Members to supply necessary production information
  • Follows all facility policies, rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Partners with Team Members by soliciting feedback and suggestions to improve departmental function and morale
  • Behaves in an ethical manner and treats fellow team members at all levels with respect and dignity
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully using all mediums: electronic, written, face-to-face and telephonic
  • Participates in required trainings
  • Use email, phones, radios, and in-person communications

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allows
  • Train others to help them gain knowledge in your strength areas as needed
  • Request additional trainings as concerns regarding processes arise

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Read, comprehend, and speak English
  • Use a pen/pencil to complete required documentation

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • STRADA, CLEARPATH, Schedule knowledge and experience

Physical Elements:

Environmental Conditions:

This position exists in an indoor manufacturing facility. The work environment is a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, and fumes.
