The Housekeeper position is responsible for performing housekeeping/laundry duties at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Cleans and sanitizes designated areas in the facility
- Ensures that housekeeping supplies are replenished in work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored properly
- Assists residents and visitors as needed
- Picks up and sorts soiled laundry
- Operates washing machines and dryers along with a variety of machines in sorting, ironing, pressing and folding finished laundry
- Delivers finished laundry to residents
- Maintains cleanliness of machines and work areas
- Assists residents and visitors as needed
