Description
The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.
The Housekeeper position is responsible for performing housekeeping/laundry duties at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Cleans and sanitizes designated areas in the facility
Ensures that housekeeping supplies are replenished in work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored properly
Assists residents and visitors as needed
Picks up and sorts soiled laundry
Operates washing machines and dryers along with a variety of machines in sorting, ironing, pressing and folding finished laundry
Delivers finished laundry to residents
Maintains cleanliness of machines and work areas
Assists residents and visitors as needed

This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
