Responsibilities:
Job Purpose
The Housekeeper is responsible for performing a combination of cleaning duties to maintain property condominiums are clean and in orderly manner. Housekeepers have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to ensure resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Sweep, scrub, wax, polish floors, vacuum carpet, using brooms, mops, vacuum, powered scrubbing and waxing machings

Collect soiled linens for laundering, and receives and store linen supplies in linen closet

Launder soiled linens and towels for next day

Replenish guest amenities such as drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom items

Wash beds and mattresses, and remake beds as appropriate

Wash walls, ceilings and woodwork; dust nightstands, lamps and TV’s; cleans and sanitize showers, tubs and toilets

Polishe metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
-
Empty wastebaskets, and empty and cleans ashtrays

Transport trashs and waste to disposal area
-
Identifiy any equipment or furniture that needs repair and notify appropriate staff or supervisor

Other duties may be assigned by management
Qualifications:
Qualifications

Prior work experience in the same or a related occupation preferred. Hotel experience preferred.

Ability to operate light cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, washing machine, dryer and carpet cleaner.
