Marketing in the world of civil engineering requires a unique blend of skills. Responsible for document development including writing, editing, layout, and production for a variety of client deliverables. These may include proposals, and presentations depending on the need.
Create customized graphics, charts, and diagrams to illustrate technical concepts.
Research, write, edit, and format original proposal content, including project descriptions, staff summaries, resumes, and other sections as assigned.
Edit content from technical staff to create a clear voice and consistent style.
Responsible for document formatting, layout, production, packaging, and maintenance of proposal production supplies.
Assists with facilitating proposal meetings and manage proposal assignments and deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Mass Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
Marketing, sales, proposal, and/or technical writing experience is preferred.
Solid communication and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency with grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style guides.
Ability to listen well and quickly solicit information from technical staff.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly produce content.
Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible, dedicated, and self-motivated.
Ability to manage time, multi-task, and excel with multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented and highly collaborative environment.
Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Indesign.
Valid Driver’s License and in good standing. Occasional travel necessary.
