Product Manager - Construction Productivity

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, passionate, self-motivated Product Manager to join the Houzz Pro product team to work in a fast-paced environment, making a daily impact on thousands of Design and Construction professionals world-wide with our b2b software solutions. 


As a Product Manager in our Construction team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the construction productivity software that streamlines various aspects of construction projects such as project management, task management, scheduling and communication. You will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and enhancement of these initiatives, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and aligns with our overall business objectives.


What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and goals related to our Construction productivity software
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize features
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and PMM to translate requirements into actionable user stories and specifications
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on ROI, user impact, and strategic alignment
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases
  • Advocate for a seamless and intuitive user experience across the product
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from our customers and partners
  • Work closely with our Data team to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to your feature area
  • Communicate product updates, roadmap, and strategy to internal stakeholders including executives, engineering teams, and customer support
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and positioning


At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • 3+ Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably within the construction industry or in developing productivity software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and data
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex products/features to market


Ideally, You'll Also Have:
  • Construction Industry experience with an understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies and industry-specific challenges


Compensation, Benefits and Perks:

This role has an annual starting salary range of $140,000 - $155,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz. Also, depending on the role, you could be eligible for an equity award. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and specific work location.
