We are currently searching for a Human Resources Coordination Intern to support our talent acquisition and internal operations processes and activities for the Global Talent Acquisition team and our HR Business Partners (HRBP’s). This role will be located in our San Ramon, California office and will facilitate all operational aspects of the hiring process and support internal HR operation processes. The successful candidate will be highly organized, have strong attention to detail, provide excellent customer interaction, and present great communication skills.
Responsibilities
Support the North America Talent Acquisition team
Provide “wow” client service and facilitate an excellent candidate experience in the recruitment process
Perform end-to-end recruitment administrative support: initiating background screenings, gathering new hire paperwork, informing all team members that the offer has been accepted, initiating internal notices to IT, payroll, and admin services teams
Build and maintain relationships with diverse groups (HR, Talent Acquisition, and third-party vendors) to ensure a smooth and efficient background screening process while also meeting pre-determined SLAs
Compile, review, and present staffing files to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for signature
Work cross-functionally with HR Operations and HR Business Partners to present personnel action requests to the CHRO
Manage confidential information in a discrete way
Perform other duties as necessary
Qualifications
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field pertaining to Human Resources.
Human resources, administrative, and/or coordinating experience preferred
Advanced computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, & Excel)
Experience with applicant tracking system (Workday) considered an asset
Strong people skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of individuals
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
High level of energy, drive, initiative, and commitment
Flexibility to manage changing priorities on short notice
Able to work 40 hours per week in the San Ramon office
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: 19.27 – 25.45 USD (Rate is dependent upon the student classification in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines.)
