Job Responsibilities
  • Review existing Power BI reports and the related SQL code and optimize both for performance, upgrade to align with current corporate enterprise standards and update reports to implement current HR and Power BI best practices for reporting and analytics
  • Regularly participate in enterprise analytics review meetings, to gain approval for HR-specific updates and new reports, learn about other work going on across the business and build relationships
  • Create new Power BI reports for HR reporting requirements, querying using SQL from Denodo views.
  • Design, plan and build > 500 metrics with GIS to implement standard HR metrics for use across the company
  • Create data validation queries, perform data audits and create dynamic, re-purpose-able HR information cross-checking tools (including alerts), in coordination with GIS to “trust and verify” the accuracy of the data used our HR reports
  • Coordinate with GIS to implement additional views of HR data, partner to improve performance and implement additional security models to enable HR reporting for dozens of business units and not just global HR
  • Analyze complex business requirements and HR data systems to identify and implement automated system solutions/process re-engineering in relation to improved business operations for HR and other business units requiring HR data
  • Provide L2 and L3 support for issues across all HR reporting technologies: tools, data warehouses and systems
  • Participate identifying, evaluating and developing HR solutions and procedures to ensure cost-effective, long-term enablement of HR processes and goals
  • Act as Reporting Solutions team representative on project teams, to ensure data- and reporting-related requirements are identified early in the project lifecycle and solutions are delivered that meet both current and future needs.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of experience in building complex reports, dashboards, and applications in Power BI (especially for Human Resources). Strong proficiency and expertise in DAX. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel Skills (i.e., Power Query, Power Pivot, VLookup, data tables, pivot tables, etc.) 5+ years of strong SQL coding experience 3+ years of experience driving success through partnerships with Global Information Systems (GIS) for ETL creation, data modeling, security modeling, testing, implementation, annual audits, and required sustaining activities for a reporting data warehouse Significant experience performing data analysis, data cleanup, and report publishing Experience working in fast-paced, agile multi-geographic environments Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in requirements gathering through the delivery of precise metrics and reports Common sense approach to getting work done Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling, with experience using various technologies (i.e., Azure, SAP BW, Power BI) Proven problem-solving skills and excellent communication & presentation skills in the English language Strong experience in optimizing and troubleshooting the dashboards and providing the recommendation on the design Ability to work independently and must be able to articulate and successfully implement the proposed solution

Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years’ experience with reporting and analytics projects, teams, tool creation, and data management, across multiple business models
  • 10+ years of experience with writing, debugging and optimizing SQL code across multiple database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Denodo, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience working with Human Resources (i.e, Leadership, Support, Centers of Excellence, Business Partners) in delivering people-related reports and analytics
  • Experience with Visier People Analytics
  • Experience in data federation, master data management, virtualization tools and data processing and audit automation (i.e., Informatica, Axon, Denodo)
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, etc.)
  • Technology - Understands many technology applications (i.e., SuccessFactors HCM, Visier, ServiceNow, PowerBI, Glint, WorkHuman, Excel, PowerApps, SharePoint, Teams) and coding languages (i.e., SQL, M Query, DAX, VBA, .Net)
  • Experience in conducting exploratory data analysis and providing recommendations for improvements that better enable business insights
